The Gift For about 5 minutes during this morning in Glacier National Park, I felt like I had received the greatest gift of incredible light. It was the most intense and colorful light I witnessed during my time in Glacier. Under these conditions, the glow reflecting off the sky creates the most gorgeous glow on the ground, water - just everywhere. I'm often torn under these conditions to just enjoy the brief moment or try and photograph it. The waves on the lake became a bit misty with the longer exposure, but helped translate the reflected light better. A single exposure with 2 stop ND filter hard edge. While the sky may appear oversat. to some, the colors were this intense - I did drop the sky sat. during RAW conversion to preserve highlights in the sky. f16, 2.5 sec. exposure, ISO 100 Canon 17-40L. © Harry Lichtman Copyright for this gallery photo belongs solely to Harry Lichtman.
