Death Valley National Park

24th May 2020
I recently returned from Death Valley just as the nation wide lockdown took hold during the Coronavirus Pandemic. This was my first time in the California desert, and really wet my appetite for future exploration. The trip needed to be cut short, as the threat of airlines shutting down became very real. While a cross country road trip back to NH would have been very cool in many ways, the circumstances made it a most undesirable option. Some day I will finally do the cross country road trip! So after several days in Death Valley, we made our way to Eastern Sierra around Bishop to catch the transition of winter into spring. Here are a couple of images from that trip. Hope to get them into a Gallery of their own soon.
