Hoffellsjokull - Iceland from the Trail
Hoffellsjokull Glacier near the town of Hofn affords great views of the glacier and surrounding mountains in southeast Iceland. This glacier is actually an outlet glacier from the Vatnajokull ice cap. A fun river crossing in my jeep was needed to get to the trailhead, which added some excitement to the day!
