Rain Serpent

Death Valley receives rain approximately 20 days per year, and I was fortunate enough to experience one of those events during my 3 days in the park. The sun tried its best to break through in the late afternoon, drying some of the sand along with the wind. Wet and dry patches of sand created varying colors and textures.
