Vision Quest -The Wave

I had conceived this type of image years ago when I first saw this rock formation along the NH coast, but the timing of tides, and weather never seemed to coincide. Staying close to home due to Covid 19 restrictions allowed me to concentrate my spring and summer time along the coast and capture images that I never made adequate time for. The igneous Gneiss formation reminded me of the striated sandstone one might expect to find in the Southwest. I spent many mornings here trying to get a variety of moods and lighting.
