Gertrude Saddle

After a beautiful hike up to this saddle viewpoint in Fiordlands National Park, I waited several hours and this was as clear as things got. In the distance I caught a glimpse of the Tasman Sea peaking through the notch. Clouds would move in to quickly reveal, then obscure the view. I listened for helicopters, as they would move into the area when clearing was imminent. This gave me a little time to prepare for shots.
