Hidden Kingdom

Beautiful Rhyolite mountains lie beneath a sea of clouds in the Highlands of Iceland. The colorful mountains are volcanic in origin and consist largely of silica. Fast cooling lava can be seen in shades of grey, tan, pink, green, and red and area a photographer's dream.
