Ljotipollur - Ugly Puddle

One of the more unique volcanic craters in the Landmannalaugar area is the Ugly Puddle. Oddly, it is pretty attractive with its reddish iron deposits and blue waters. I was lucky enough to see it with an icy ring still in place around its eastern shore. The distant lake is Frostastadavatn.
