Summit Sanctuary

A climbed to a more out of the way vantage point this autumn afternoon atop Acadia's Cadillac Mountain to escape the throngs of people on the summit. The alpine foliage comes alive with backlighting, so I took advantage of conditions and enjoyed the crisp autumn quiet.
