The Chasm

The Skoga River in Southeast Iceland offers some of the most spectacular cascades of glacial meltwater that I encountered. Over 25 major falls plummet toward the town of Skogar along the trek to the Fimmvörðuháls and Thorsmork. I was as close to the edge of this Chasm as I dared without being roped in for safety.
