Athabasca Crossing

The mighty Athabasca River rushes toward the town of Jasper in Alberta's Jasper National Park, Canada. The brilliant blue waters are in part the result of glacial silt dissolved in the water from the melting glaciers many miles away. The distant peaks form a portion of the Continental Divide.
