Autumn in Assiniboine

In autumn, larch trees surrounding Mount Assiniboine turn a vibrant yellow to orange color, so I planned my visit to the park to catch them before they lost their needles. I hiked many miles to this rocky outcrop on several days, hoping to capture some dramatic moments. The afternoon light on the Larch produced a stunning glow. Terrapin Mnt., Mount Magog, Mount Assiniboine, Sunburst Peak, Wedgewood Peak, and The Marshall form the alpine sky line.
