Clearing - Grand Canyon

These heavy overcast skies slowly broke up near sunset to create a very colorful sunset. In this image, the subdued sky doesn't compete with the colorful canyon, allowing an array of colors and textures to shine through. Even lighting in this view gave way to some strong side lighting in The Grand image. This view is from the western end of the Canyon. A 3 image "stitch" was used to take in this expansive view.
