Dalsdalsvotni Lake - Norway
Pronouncing some of the Norwegian mountains and lakes is nearly as challenging as the hike themselves. The trek to this alpine glacial lake started out in rain and ended in rain. There was a brief 45 minute period midway that provided an opportunity to get some shots of the surrounding landscape. I nearly missed the opportunity, as it was raining heavily when I reached the lake. I found shelter in tiny hut, if you can call if that, near the lake. After having some food, I began my descent in the rain. After 30 minutes down, I realized I left my hat in the hut. I debated just leaving it there, but in the end I hiked back up to retrieve it. Once back at the lake, skies cleared, the sun popped out, and so did my camera.
