Forever Wild
Sunrise graces the Pemigewasset Wilderness from Garfield Ridge near Franconia Notch and the AMC's Greenleaf Hut. It is hard to believe that this vast view was decimated by clear-cut logging in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Nature has rebounded remarkably in this case. This is one of the best views along the NH portion of the Appalachian Trail.
