Grossglockner Valley I
Hardy flowers grow along the glacial moraine below Austria's highest peak, Grossglockner at 12,533 ft. The broad glaciated peak to the far right is Johannisberg (11,418 ft.) Views of Grossglockner were fleeting, so I felt fortunate to see it before clouds engulfed the summit cone.
