Icy Aftermath - Iceland Winter
Crashing surf relentlessly pounds icebergs on Iceland's south east coast all year long. The cycle of glacial calving brings huge chunks of ice out to sea, where the tide washes them up onto volcanic black sand beaches. The benefit of shooting in temperatures well below freezing was that water quickly froze on my clothing and could be shaken off - ultimately keeping me much warmer.
