Ripley Falls - Spring Snow

The ground around these falls had been barren of snow for weeks, but an April snowstorm in NH's White Mountains changed all of that! Ten inches of fresh snow transformed the falls into the picture that I have been waiting to take for nearly 10 years. This kind of image is only possible early or late in the snow season, otherwise the falls are either dry or have frozen. Crawford Notch, NH.
