Ripley Falls - The Precipice

I had waiting nearly 10 years to be in Crawford Notch for a fresh snow coinciding with the falls running high. The area had been barren of snow for weeks prior to this image, but a fresh 10 inches of snow and spring melt allowed such conditions. While shots from the base of the falls seemed the obvious choice of compositions, I liked the feel and view just at the lip of the falls.
